If the moving company takes the time to thoroughly understand and answer your questions, which is generally a good sign. And keep in mind that most honest movers will be competitive with the competition. This will also help you judge whether the price is obviously "too be good to be true" or not.

Taking the time to plan ahead and make necessary arrangements will not only save you money, but also make it much less stressful.
